My niece’s book review of Defier by Mandy Fender! Rating: 3.5 stars
Defier is a great story. I thought it was really neat that the characters came alive so well. I genuinely appreciated the way Mrs. Fender showed the struggle of trusting God when everything you love is at stake.
Defier was fast-paced and held my attention. She (Mrs. Fender) does an excellent job of showing how Lennox felt not telling. Although, I felt that she could expand on certain topics, such as her (Lennox’s) grief. And if – SPOILER ALERT – the Sparrows were a secret organization, shouldn’t there have been a password or security questions when they met Eli?
All in all, this was a great book but could expand on some subjects. Plus, I found no typos! 🙂
